Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Farm Laborer to support daily operations on our agricultural property. This role involves hands-on work in harvesting, washing and packaging green leaf vegetable crops as well as cleaning and maintaining washing and packing lines. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, reliable, and eager to contribute to the success of our farm. Prior experience in horticulture or farm maintenance is a plus, but training will be provided for specific equipment and procedures.

Duties

Assist with harvesting crops Wash and pack green leaf vegetables for market Daily cleaning of washing lines and packing lines/equipment Assist with heavy lifting of supplies, produce, or equipment as needed Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times Support general farm tasks as required

Experience

Prior experience with mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery or equipment is preferred Familiarity with irrigation systems, horticulture practices, or crop management is advantageous Experience operating heavy machinery or power tools is beneficial but not required--training will be provided Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work outdoors in various weather conditions No formal experience required; willingness to learn new skills is essential for success in this role

Contract length: 19 weeks

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week
