Farm Hand/labourer
Job Description
Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goat Farm requires two full time employees to work 4 days 10+ hours shifts. Job includes such tasks as general animal care, walking, milking, feeding, barns and yard cleaning, fence maintenance and property maintenance. We also have bees that you will learn to assist with, small number of geese and some very friendly greeter chickens. On the farmer we use the milk to make artisan cheese that is sold to cheese stores. Hopefully there will be an interest in learning cheese making skills.The goats are extremely pleasant and playful. - French not required
- 10 hour shift
- Although this is not a total requirement it is preferred that an applicant has had farm experience. Do you have any experience working on a farm in the past and if so, describe?
- Do you have reliable transportation?
- Can you work weekends and stat holidays?
- outdoor work: 1 year (preferred)
