Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Farm Hand to join our agricultural team. The ideal candidate will assist in various farming operations, ensuring the smooth running of daily tasks. This role requires physical stamina, mechanical knowledge, and a willingness to learn about farm management practices.

We operate modern Case IH/New holland equipment and have a wide range of work to do to find your thing or keep a variety!

Responsibilities

Including

but not limited to:

Operate and perform routine maintenance on farm machinery and heavy equipment. Assist with various field, cropping tasks- tillage, seeding, harvest Maintain fences and other general ranch duties Utilize hand tools and power tools for various farming tasks. Assist with heavy lifting and moving of materials as needed. Basic cattle duties (sorting, doctoring etc.) Monitor animal health and report any issues. Perform basic math calculations for inventory management and feed rations Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the farm facilities.

Qualifications

Class 5 license, preference given to class 1a Previous experience in farming or agricultural work is preferred but not required. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work long hours outdoors in varying weather conditions. Basic math skills for measuring and calculating necessary quantities. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work as part of a team.
