The Role

Reporting to the Assistant Marine Operations manager, you will assist in the installation and maintenance of all necessary fish pen related infrastructure. You will:


Assist with net, pen and mooring set-up, maintenance, and equipment installation. Assist with fish transfers, feed trials, feeding fish and fish health checks. Monitor and report all predator activity.

This exciting opportunity is full-time, operating on a 7 on, 7 off roster working Thursday to Wednesday.

About you

Having your Master <24 or MED3 will give you a strong advantage Strong time management skills and the willingness to learn new skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships within a team. Strong ability to adapt, deal with uncertainty, and remain calm in a changing environment. Excellent attention to detail and a proactive focus on continuous improvement. A commitment to working safely in a dynamic environment, identifying risks, and taking appropriate action. Bonus points for experience on the water and relevant qualifications and tickets.
