Position: Family Services & Jordan's Principle Manager

Hours:

35 hours per week

Hourly wage:

$37.00-$39.00/hr

Working as part of the VNFC Management Team and reporting directly to the Director of Family Development and Food Security, the Family Services and Jordan's Principle Manager provides strategic and operational leadership to the Family Services and Jordan's Principle Teams and overall supports for Indigenous families. This position provides supervision, leadership and support to staff within the Family Services and Jordan's Principle Teams and will ensure that the work of the teams is well integrated and managed to the benefit of the clients/community served. Requires Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Social Work or related field and/or equivalent experience and education.

Our team includes people of all Indigenous identities; some who are close to their communities and others who are on a path to learn more about their heritage. In recognition of the importance of a lived understanding of Indigenous communities, history, values and culture, preference is given to Indigenous applicants.
