Family Services Aide
Job Description
The Action Group is a non-profit organization that provides a range of services to adults and children with disabilities in Central Alberta. The Action Group is dedicated to engaging individuals and inspiring them to become leaders in their own lives.
We are currently recruiting energetic and creative individuals that are interested in supporting children with disabilities. The Action Group offers a variety of part-time positions as a Family Services Aide in several locations throughout Central Alberta (Lacombe & Red Deer). We provide flexible hours including after school and weekends, with multiple opportunities.
Qualifications/ Skill Set required:
Able to manage your own schedule Flexible Creative Comfortable working one on one with families/ children Experience providing support to children with disabilities Experience working with complex behaviours and providing personal care
Requirements:
Willingness to actively participate in all activities Valid Driver's license/ reliable transportation and valid insurance High School Diploma Clean Vulnerable Sector Check and Child Intervention Record Check. Emergency First Aid Level C (AED) (90 days from date of hire to obtain) Ability to work Evenings and Weekends.Please apply by sending your resume to recruitment@action-group.org
