Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all age groups.
Conduct detailed health assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based treatments.
Manage both acute and chronic medical conditions.
Promote preventive health through education, screening, and immunizations.
Collaborate effectively with allied health professionals, specialists, and community programs.
Maintain accurate and timely patient records using EMR systems.
Participate in after-hours or on-call rotations as needed.
Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (
MD
) or equivalent from a recognized institution.
CCFP Certification
(College of Family Physicians of Canada).
Active or eligible license with the
College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
and/or
College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA)
.
Strong commitment to patient-centered and holistic care.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
Proficiency in
