Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for acute and chronic illnesses.
Conduct thorough physical examinations and take detailed medical histories.
Administer medications and manage pain management protocols as needed.
Collaborate with specialists for referrals and coordinate care for complex cases.
Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic and Cerner for documentation and data collection.
Engage in research initiatives to improve patient outcomes and contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology and practices relevant to family medicine.
Provide pediatric care, ensuring the health and development of children in the practice.
Participate in home care visits when necessary to support patients with unique needs.
Foster strong relationships with patients through effective communication, education, and support.
Qualifications
Medical degree from an accredited institution with board certification in Family Medicine.
Previous hospital experience preferred, demonstrating proficiency in acute care settings.
Experience in a medical office environment is advantageous for understanding operational workflows.
Strong skills in data collection and analysis to inform clinical decisions.
Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining patient-centered care principles.
