This is a full-scope practice providing care for patients at all stages of life. The clinic also operates a duty clinic which is open to the public by appointment. The clinic is fully integrated into the MedAccess EMR system, and supported by 11 administrative staff, an Office Manager, and a Clinic Director. Billing support is provided, as well as EMR training if needed. There are a total of 21 providers working full-time and part-time, and the following specialties are located in the clinic:

• Prenatal Care (by referral)
• Well Baby clinic (for unattached)
• Minor procedures (by referral)
• Psychiatry (by referral)
• Well Women\'s clinics (open to public)
• Cardiology (by referral)
• ECGs (by referral)
• Addiction (3 providers, all addiction, by referral, some self referral accepted for Opioids)

ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Examine patients and take their histories, order diagnostic tests and laboratory procedures
• Advise patients on health care, health promotion, and disease prevention
• Consultation and referral to other medical practitioners
• Act as a patient\'s advocate
• Prescribe and administer medications and treatments, inoculations and vaccinations
• Report births, deaths, contagious and other diseases as per Nova Scotia Public Health requirements
