About This Opportunity

A full-time practice opportunity is available at the Hydrostone Medical Centre in Halifax, centrally located and easily accessible by bus. When at full complement, this clinic has three Family Physicians and a Psychiatrist on site. The space available for an incoming physician at this clinic includes two large spacious rooms that come fully equipped. This is a professionally managed clinic and is well supported by experienced staff.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Examine patients and take their histories, order diagnostic tests and laboratory procedures; advise patients on health care, health promotion, and disease prevention

Consultation and referral to other medical practitioners\'

Act as a patient\'s advocate

Prescribe and administer medications and treatments, inoculations and vaccinations

Report births, deaths, contagious and other diseases as per Nova Scotia Public Health requirements

Eligible for Licensure with the (CPSNS)

Eligible for certification with the (CFPC)
