Your Opportunity:Working in the Airdrie Addiction and Mental Health clinic, this is an advanced clinical position providing Addiction and Mental Health to clients across the lifespan and their families. The clinic is diverse in providing services to individuals across the lifespan through individual, family and group modalities. The team values the opportunity to learn and support each other through live team work and other opportunities. The successful individual may be asked to work one evening a week depending on schedule.Description:As a Family Counsellor, you will provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up to clients and their families. You will also provide clinical focused consultation with other programs or community resources and acts as a liaison to develop and promote preventative health programs in the community. You will collaborate with other health care providers and community service providers to ensure a continuum of care in the community.

Required Qualifications:Completion of master\'s degree in a health related field. Active or eligible for registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college. Additional Required Qualifications:Master\'s Degree in Social Work or Psychology and registration with associated college. Abiility to provide restricted psychosocial interventions. Preferred Qualifications:Three to five years post degree demonstrated experience in assessment and treatment of mental health and/or addictions. Training and experience in implementing evidence-based interventions. Able and willing to work with a diverse population across the entire age span. Sound clinical and professional judgement and strong interpersonal and social skills.
