The ICCIT invites applications from qualified candidates who are not current University of Toronto students.

Appointment dates:

September 1 to December 31, 2025 for 'F' courses.

Qualifications (unless specified):

Must have completed formal education/experience specific to the subject area. Must be familiar with Quercus. Demonstrated teaching excellence and advanced technological skills are required. For marking positions, candidates must be able to work well under time constraints and meet deadlines.

Duties: (Include but are not limited to one or more of the following

): Conducting in-person tutorials and maintaining scheduled office hours, student e-mail contact, grading, invigilating, and clerical duties. Practical invigilation is required. The mode of instruction for the courses is in-person.

Advances in technology have provided users ready access to empowering technologies enabling creative and enterprise digital production. This course provides hands-on skills on critical design and production suites and platforms used across industries and disciplines, centered on the development of industry-standard creative design.

Students will develop skills in the areas of bitmap/vector graphics, audio/visual production and editing, 2D/3D modeling and animation, and video game design. Students will produce immersive environments while addressing and engaging issues of remix culture and intellectual property.

CCT360H5F Web Development and Design ll

This course will introduce advanced standards-based frameworks that support the development of responsive front-end systems. Key concepts covered in this course include the application of advanced markup and design strategies, scripting languages applied to dynamic interactions, frameworks and code version control, and foundations of server-side implementations.

CCT461H5F Speculative Design III

Emerging technologies have the potential to transform business models and architectures. In this course students learn the functional and technical underpinnings of selected emerging technologies and critically analyse how these technologies are impacting business functions. Students also gain hands-on experience with emerging technologies and consider how they may be applied or adapted to solve management issues.

The rate of pay for a Sessional Instructional Assistant (SIA) is $54.27 per hour in accordance with CUPE 3902, Unit 3 Collective Agreement. Please note that should rates stipulated in the Collective Agreement vary from rates stated in this posting, the rates stated in the collective agreement shall prevail.





This job is posted in accordance with the CUPE 3902 Unit 3 Collective Agreement.

Preference in hiring is given to qualified individuals advanced to the rank of Sessional Lecturer II or Sessional Lecturer III in accordance with Article 14:12 of the CUPE 3902 Unit 3 collective agreement.



Please note: Undergraduate or graduate students and postdoctoral fellows of the University of Toronto are covered by the CUPE 3902 Unit 1 collective agreement rather than the Unit 3 collective agreement, and should not apply for positions posted under the Unit 3 collective agreement.
