Fairmont Gold Supervisor
At Fairmont Chateau Whistler, unparalleled service and luxury await guests of Fairmont Gold, our exclusive \xe2\x80\x9chotel within a hotel\xe2\x80\x9d experience. As Fairmont Gold Supervisor, you will bring our exceptional Fairmont Gold standards to life.

What you will be doing:
  • Review all Fairmont Gold reservations to ensure requests are met
  • Assist Fairmont Gold Attendants and Director, Fairmont Gold in all aspects of the department and ensure service standards are followed
  • Handle guest concerns and react quickly, tracking and notifying proper areas to guarantee memorable moments for our guests
  • Develop and maintain strong guest relationships to ensure Fairmont Gold loyalty
  • Provide information and communicate services to our guests about local attractions, activities, transportation and coordinate all reservations as requested building personalize guest itineraries
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:
  • Highly organized, results-oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities and the ability to lead by example
  • Thorough knowledge of Front Office operations, including Front Desk, Reservations, Telecommunications and Guest Services is required
  • Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
  • Knowledge of Whistler and all it has to offer is required
  • Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management is an asset
Physical aspects include but are not limited to:
  • Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
  • Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50+ lbs
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
Additional Information

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
