Material Handling & Picking:

Discovery Dream Homes Ltd. is seeking a hardworking and dependable

General Labourer / Yard Hand

for a

temporary position

supporting our production and yard team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, stays organized, and can thrive in a busy manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Picking lumber and building materials for production Preparing, packing, and staging customer and job-site orders Ensuring material accuracy and quality during selection

Yard & Shop Support:

Organizing and maintaining the yard and material storage areas Assisting with loading and unloading trucks Keeping work areas clean, safe, and orderly Providing general support to production staff when required

Qualifications

Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, construction, or general labour role is an asset Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team Forklift experience or certification is an asset
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Work Location: In person
