Job Description

The Opportunity:

The Facility Program Assistant in childminding provides support to Recreation Section childminding and preschool programs by looking after children in our care, providing ongoing customer service, maintain a safe environment that protects the well being of children, maintain cleanliness and organization of the childminding area.

As our preferred candidate, you will have:

Grade 10 or equivalent. Early Childhood Level 1 Certification Exceptional customer service skills. Demonstrated high level of verbal, written, and listening skills. Intermediate First Aid Certificate Commitment to the City's Cornerstone Values.

Affiliation:

Canadian Union of Public Employees, Local 417

Remuneration:

$21.58 to $22.85 per hour. While this role offers competitive compensation, we do not participate in the Government of Alberta top-up program.

Hours of Work:

Hours of work as scheduled with no minimum guarantee. Availability required for evenings, weekends, weekdays, early mornings and potential split shifts as business needs required.
