Aunt Lucy's Doggy Daycare and Pet Hotel is a fast-growing, Fear Free-certified facility set on five private acres, offering exceptional care and enrichment for dogs. We're looking for a dedicated

Facility Manager

to join our leadership team and help guide our staff and operations as we continue to expand.

This is a

full-time, salaried management role

for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, loves dogs, and is eager to contribute ideas that make a difference. The Facility Manager oversees daily operations, ensures top-tier customer service, maintains safety and cleanliness standards, and supports a positive, team-oriented workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and support the daycare and boarding team to deliver exceptional care and service. Oversee scheduling, shift coverage, and staff performance. Ensure all playgroups operate safely and follow Fear Free handling and enrichment practices. Greet and communicate with customers about their dogs' needs, behaviour, and progress. Maintain facility standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation. Manage inventory and coordinate supply orders when needed. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, customer experience, and workplace morale. Plan and lead staff meetings, training sessions, and team-building activities. Assist in marketing or promotional initiatives, and contribute creative ideas for new services or offerings. Respond to emergencies and provide coverage as required during business events, holidays, or staff absences.

Qualifications

Strong leadership and communication skills. Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities. Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive. Previous management or supervisory experience preferred. Comfortable working with dogs of all breeds and sizes. Reliable, self-motivated, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Must have a

reliable vehicle

for commuting.
