The Facility Attendant will ensure smooth transitions between programming, as well as look after the set up, tear down, cleaning and maintenance of these spaces. The Facility Attendant will need to understand the operations of a sports facility and will assist with maintenance and operations of the Hangar main facility as well.
This role pays an hourly rate of $21 CAD.

This position will remain open until May 9, 2025.
Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the schedule of programs and leagues by performing effective program transitions.
  • Set up & take down of equipment for rentals, leagues, and special events.
  • Liaise with clients, team captains and referees, addressing queries, concerns or complaints.
  • Monitor the safety of all activities and programs and respond to any safety concerns.
  • Clean washrooms and changeroom facilities nightly.
  • Clean around the fields nightly, as well as emptying garbage bins.
  • Oversee general maintenance and repairs of the facility.
  • Maintain a strong customer-focused approached when responding to general inquiries and resolving any scheduling conflicts.
  • Provide support for special events as required.
  • Liaise with bookings and other appropriate departments to ensure the smooth delivery of rentals.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in an operations or cleaning capacity preferred.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to prepare routine administrative paper work.
  • Ability to routinely lift heavy equipment (30 lbs).
  • Positive attitude and an understanding of the physical nature of the position.
  • Ability to follow through and complete overlapping projects.
