Commissionaires Southern Alberta is responsible for providing professional security services for Calgary, Red Deer, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, and Suffield. Job Purpose;

The Uniform Coordinator is responsible for the timely and efficient ordering, issuing and collection of company uniforms and associated equipment. This position requires an individual who prides themselves on attention to detail and whom is passionate about providing outstanding operational support and service to internal customers.


The Uniform Coordinator is also responsible for coordinating building services and service contractors is manner that facilitates safe and efficient use of Divisional offices.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinating the Division's logistics processes including managing the clothing & kit system, warehouse and stores;


Managing the Division's inventory and inventory control processes (including ordering, shipping, and return-management);

Coordinate work execution for basic building services such as janitorial, HVAC, access control, etc.

Work with the Manager, Division operations to ensure valid service agreements are in place for all building services vendors

Managing the supply chain for the Division's supplies, furniture, equipment and purchasing program;

Organize and execute office moves with the Division on an as needed basis Preform light maintenance duties as required such as changing burnt out light bulbs

Participating in the Division Business Continuity Plan development and implementation as it relates to physical office space.

Supporting company programs such as the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) and the Emergency Response Team (ERT) as needed.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

Superior communication and customer service skills with demonstrated ability to form and maintain long-term positive working relationships with diverse stakeholders; Sufficient knowledge of logistics management policies and procedures; Knowledge of the Province of Alberta Security legislation preferred; Strong organizational, time management and priority setting skills; Effective written and verbal presentation skills: English essential; Experience in administering service contracts; Must possess or be able to obtain a Canadian government Reliability security clearance and pass a criminal background check

Personable team player with a proven ability to operate independently in a wide variety of dynamic and challenging situations.

Strong computer skills most notably Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook) are essential and financial management software a definite asset.




Experience & Education:

Recent Canadian Forces or RCMP service are definite assets; Previous logistics management or related experience; Undergraduate degree in a relevant field from a recognized university or, An acceptable combination of education and experience.


Working Conditions:

Work weeks are typically 5 days per week, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (exceptions from time to time)
