The Facilities Manager is responsible for the overall physical operations, maintenance, and upkeep of the Students' Union Building (SUB) and other facilities & assets of the University of Alberta Students' Union (UASU).
A key function is serving as the primary liaison between the UASU's in-house staff and the University of Alberta's facilities, trades, and projects teams for major infrastructure, complex repairs, and capital projects.
The role manages facilities, maintenance, and custodial staff, day-to-day tenancy affairs, and building improvements, operating in a process-driven and collaborative manner utilizing digital tools.
