Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Facilities General Labourer to carry out essential upkeep tasks across our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a wide range of maintenance duties, including repairs, installations, cleaning, and routine inspections, to ensure all building systems operate safely and efficiently. Proficiency in using power tools and basic maintenance equipment is required.

Responsibilities

1. Cleaning & Organizing

Sweeping and mopping Parts room every other day Vacuuming upstairs offices once weekly Emptying garbage cans daily Cleaning stairs once weekly Keeping the yard clean and organized Weekly Bathroom clean - Sweep, mop, Wipe down toilet & Urinal Clean inside & out of all part room windows Wipe down all surfaces & mop the break room Snow removal on all walkways
2. Routine Tasks & Inspections

Checking that all airlines are working on a weekly basis Top up all Tech Trailer vehicles with gas every Friday Take all Tech Trailer Vehicles with the "wash card" to the car wash once a week. Weekly weed whacking throughout Spring, Summer & Fall
3. Other Tasks

Assist with parts runs & returns as needed Painting Taking apart and sorting different materials (Alum & Steel) Monitor cleaning, washroom and other supplies and request restocking when necessary Assist with set up and tear down of any events Set up chairs in a circle to prepare for month Green Light meetings Assemble shelving units, ramps, fixtures, and other equipment as needed Hanging Signs when needed Take tools to manufacture for repairs Fill out Deficiency reports when tools are broken and hand them to the Operations Manager Provide support to the management team as needed

Requirements

MUST be over 25 years old with a G license for Insurance purposes Be forklift certified or willing to learn Supply your own maintenance tools - some tools are provided Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
