DESCRIPTION

Role

This unionized position reports to and is accountable to the Coordinator, Facilities and is responsible for overseeing day-to-day coordination of equipment repairs, facility minor repairs, and contracted maintenance and ensures internal and external requests for repairs and maintenance are dealt with in a timely, cost-effective manner through effective administration of the facilities ticketing system. The position makes recommendations for facility access and key control procedures and systems to meet library requirements that are part of the larger safety and security of the library system.



This position provides leadership and supervision to Shuttle staff including daily operations; promoting and modeling excellent customer service; and overall operating effectiveness of the service including oversight of the vehicle repairs and maintenance. In collaboration with the Coordinator, Facilities and Library Services leadership, assists in implementing efficient and effective delivery service that meets the requirements of GVPL.

Work schedule Line 7, Tuesday to Saturday from 9:00AM to 5:00PM Schedule is subject to change based on operational requirements. Evening and weekend work may be required. Please find a copy of the job description
