is seeking a dynamic, responsible, mature

Soccer Class Facilitator

to join our team in Guelph, ON.

As a

Soccer Class Facilitator

, you will be responsible for the overall management, organization and leading of soccer classes for our Parent and Tot (1-3 years) and our U5-U7 programming. You will be required to engage and motivate the kids, interact with parents, and lead different activities and games.

Some of the responsibilities include:

Ensure that all site rules and procedures are followed (such as, but not limited to: tracking attendance, distributing t-shirts, policing areas of gymnasium/school to not be accessed etc) Transport, set up and take down of all equipment and activities. Lead activities and games that encourage participation and fun. Follow game and activity plans that have been provided. Communicate with caregivers, when necessary, regarding their child.
Requirements:

Must be 18 years or older

REALLY outgoing, confident personality with a strong presence. Quick thinker, 100% reliable and a good team player. Ability to keep small children engaged and participating in activities. Understanding of how to connect with young children. Have excellent verbal communication skills to engage and lead children during clads. Previous camp leader/coaching/childcare experience is considered an asset *Soccer experience or background is not necessary

The role is based on soccer seasons:

Weekend mornings (weekday evening work may also be an option) Must be available for the entire soccer session (typically 1 day a week for 6-10 weeks)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $17.20-$25.99 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 5 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

Guelph, ON (N1G): reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:

Secondary School (preferred)
