En tant que facilitateur, vous offrirez un service a la clientele bilingue aupres des passagers qui ont besoin d'une assistance supplementaire tout au long du processus de controle. Vous recevrez une formation approfondie sur les procedures de controle preembarquement ainsi que sur les situations de controle particulieres.


Responsabilites du poste de facilitateur





• Fournir un niveau eleve de service a la clientele au public voyageur.
• Dialoguer avec les passagers et offrir de l'aide a ceux qui ont besoin d'un soutien en raison d'une perte d'audition, d'une perte de vision, d'une mobilite reduite, etc.
• Sur demande, accompagner les passagers lors du controle, les aider avec leurs effets personnels et leur expliquer la procedure.
• Expliquer les possibilites offertes au passager pour le controle de sa personne et de ses equipements medicaux, ainsi que de tout objet culturel ou religieux sensible.
• Fournir des informations sur la signalisation reglementaire de l'ACSTA aux passagers malvoyants (a l'aide du livret de communication tactile de l'ACSTA).
• Travailler en etroite collaboration avec les agents de controle et assurer la liaison avec les intervenants de premiere ligne afin d'assurer aux passagers un service a la clientele exceptionnel.
• Intervenir de maniere proactive en cas de besoin, que ce soit dans la file d'attente ou sur la ligne de controle.
• Maintenir a jour ses connaissances sur les enjeux et les initiatives lies au handicap, en particulier dans le secteur des transports (par exemple, le programme Sunflower Lanyard pour les personnes souffrant de handicaps invisibles).

Qualifications du facilitateur





• Formation postsecondaire ou experience professionnelle equivalente.
• Empathie, ecoute active et sens du service a la clientele.
• Un minimum de 1 a 3 ans d'experience dans le domaine du service a la clientele.
• Capacite de communiquer couramment, clairement et efficacement en francais et en anglais.
• Capacite de s'adapter aux besoins/situations des clients, de fournir des solutions ou des alternatives appropriees.
• Capacite de fournir un soutien physique aux passagers a mobilite reduite, sur demande.
• Capacite de rester debout et de marcher pendant de longues periodes.

As a Facilitator, you will provide bilingual customer service and engage with passengers who need extra assistance through the screening process. You will be extensively trained on knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures and will gain an in-depth familiarity of Pre-Board Screening procedures for special screening situations.


Facilitator Job Responsibilities





• Provide a high level of customer service to the travelling public.
• Engage with passengers and offer assistance to those who require support for hearing loss, vision loss, limited mobility, etc.
• If requested, accompany passengers through screening, helping with their belongings and explaining the process.
• Explain options available to the passenger for screening of their person and their special items, medical devices and aids, and sensitive cultural or religious items.
• Provide information about CATSA's regulatory signage to passengers with vision loss (using CATSA tactile communications booklet).
• Work closely with Screening Officers and liaise with front-line stakeholders to ensure passengers receive exceptional customer service.
• Proactively intervene where required, either in the queue or on the screening line.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on disability-related issues and initiatives, with a focus on those in the transportation sector (for example, the Sunflower Lanyard program for people with invisible disabilities).

Facilitator Qualifications





• Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience.
• Strong empathy, active listening, and customer service skills
• A minimum of 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Ability to communicate fluently, clearly, and effectively in both French and English
• Ability to adapt to customer needs/situations, provide appropriate solutions or alternatives.
• Ability to provide physical support to passengers with reduced mobility, upon request.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
