Face Painter (Event-Based / Casual)

FaceCraft is seeking a

reliable

, creative, and professional Face Painter to join our growing team. We provide high-quality face painting services for birthdays, festivals, school events, and community gatherings within Ajax, Pickering, Whitby, and Markham.

This is a

casual, event-based position

, ideal for someone with weekend availability, strong communication skills, and a genuine interest in art and working with children.

Requirement:

Must have access to a car and a valid driver's license.

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide professional, high-quality face painting services at events (primarily weekends, with some weekday opportunities). Set up and dismantle equipment efficiently and neatly. Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic setup at all times. Interact courteously and professionally with children, parents, and event organizers. Adapt designs based on time constraints, age, and client preferences. Uphold FaceCraft's reputation for reliability, professionalism, and creativity. Safely transport face painting materials and equipment to and from event locations.

Qualifications

Must have a car and a valid driver's license.

Must be punctual, reliable, and responsive in communication. Prior experience in face painting, makeup, or working with children is an asset A background in visual arts, design, animation, or other creative fields is highly encouraged. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Comfortable in fast-paced, high-energy environments. Able to lift up to 25 lbs (equipment and supplies). Willingness to travel across the our service region and surrounding areas. Mileage reimbursement provided for events outside of our primary service area (Ajax, Pickering, Whitby, Markham, Oshawa).
