Competition: FAC 24-25 - 0 78 Floater Caretaker (CT2) St. Albert Public Schools is currently recruiting a Full Time, Probationary , Floater Caretaker for work assignments at various locations within the division. More than 9000 students are enrolled in St. Albert Public Schools.

Hours of Work : 37.5 hrs./week; 7.5 hrs./day; Monday-Friday; Full Time, ProbationaryHours will be : Hours for this position will be decided upon by the Assistant Manager of Facilities Services.Hourly Rate: $21.65 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective AgreementSpecific Needs/Requirements for this position: This work involves routine cleaning and minor maintenance tasks to maintain school buildings and property. Entry level knowledge of cleaning equipment operation as well as the chemicals and cleaning products used.Ability to lift and handle cleaning equipment and furniture.Basic knowledge of repair procedures.Ability to work well in a team environment.Up to 6 months experience in building cleaning.WHMIS training would be an asset.Applications, either written or electronic, must include documentation which describes: Highest level of formal education.Professional certificates, trade certificates, etc.Courses, seminars, and specialized training.Experience related to the position.Other skills and abilities applicable to the position.In accordance with the CUPE Collective Agreement, this position offers a comprehensive benefits package found under Alberta School Employee Benefit Plan.
