Job Description

Cutting

Utilize automated hot cutter to produce large pre-cut lots of webbing for sewing line. Machine operation and maintenance. Using Eastman electric foam knife to cut patterns and stuff into sewn products. Device operation and maintenance, may require agility for positioning. Designing new cardboard foam templates for new products being developed.

Production

Organize materials for sewing and cutting orders Manual dye punch - winter division Organize completed product logically on floor or racking

General

Plan, organize, and assist with daily operations Improve and maintain efficiency of production Maintain equipment used for operations Assist daily inventory of materials and products Assist with maintenance of plant equipment Maintain quality control inspections Improve, enforce and maintain safe work practices and procedures Communication and implementation of work orders, materials and production with fellow employees and management Communication of raw materials, finished goods and production progress to management when required Problem solving, creativity, critical thinking and decision making required for process innovation, product improvement and materials management

Maintenance

General maintenance as required

Operations

Operate pump cart to maneuver materials on skids

Physical Strength

- be able to lift minimum 50 lbs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
