Job Description

IWL Steel Fabricators is a well-established custom steel fabricator with shops in Saskatoon and Martensville. IWL Steel is well-positioned to offer a full range of products and services throughout Saskatchewan, Western Canada and the northern United States.

Positions for all skill levels for day and night shifts are available.

Duties:

Fabricate and assemble metal structures and products according to blueprints and specifications Read and interpret schematics, drawings, and diagrams Measure, cut, and shape metal using precision tools and equipment Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy Operate various power tools and machinery such as press brake machines, saws, and drills Operation of overhead cranes Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Qualifications:

3 years experience or more in a custom fabrication environment, journeyman steel fabricator preferred Individuals having completed or near completed pre-employment are encouraged to apply Experience with tanks and plate work preferred TSASK tickets are considered an asset Ability to lay out, cut, assemble, fit and tack from blueprints with minimum supervision Overhead crane experience Strong problem-solving skills Ability to work independently or as part of a team Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Good knowledge of welding techniques and processes Attention to detail and ability to work with precision Must have driver's license & own transportation, as some positions are in our Martensville shop.
Work Hours: Monday thru Thursday - 6:00 am to 4:30 pm

or

Monday thru Thursday - 4:30 pm to 3:00 am

10%-night shift premium
