Overview


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fabricator/Welder to join our manufacturing team. This role involves fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and adherence to project specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience with various welding techniques, including MIG welding, to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties



Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine fabrication requirements Operate welding equipment including MIG, TIG, and plasma cutting tools to join or cut metal components Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measurement devices to ensure precise fabrication according to specifications Perform rigging tasks and operate cranes or forklifts as needed for material handling and assembly Set up and operate press brake machines for bending sheet metal components Conduct machining operations on parts requiring precise dimensions Assist in assembly of fabricated components into larger structures or systems such as ductwork or mechanical assemblies Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and proper equipment maintenance

Requirements



Proven experience with MIG welding, plasma cutting, and general fabrication techniques Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing processes, assembly, and construction applications Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and schematics accurately Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, calipers, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations Experience operating cranes, forklifts, press brake machines, and other heavy machinery is preferred Knowledge of rigging procedures and crane safety protocols is a plus Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills Prior experience in manufacturing or construction environments involving ductwork or structural fabrication is advantageous Prior Experience with Milling Machine and Lathe Machine is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.39-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
