Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder/Millwright to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication with secondary skills of mechanically inclined and ability to work directly with a millwright or HD mechanic or in the field on your own, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. The Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for producing high-quality metal components for various projects, ensuring that all work meets industry standards.

Duties

Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of materials, ensuring strong and precise welds. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project specifications. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery including plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, and forklifts. Conduct rigging operations safely and efficiently as needed. Assemble components according to specifications while maintaining quality control throughout the process. Use calipers and basic math skills to measure and cut materials accurately. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members on projects to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Experience

Proven experience in welding and fabrication within a manufacturing or construction environment. Proficiency in MIG welding; experience with TIG welding is a plus. Familiarity with machining processes and equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise. Experience in ductwork fabrication is beneficial. Ability to operate cranes safely is preferred. Previous experience using forklifts is advantageous. Knowledge of assembly techniques and processes. Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
