Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled

Fabricator/Welder

with experience in

MIG, TIG, Stick, and FCAW welding processes

. The ideal candidate will hold

valid CWB welding tickets

and have strong knowledge of metal fabrication, blueprint reading, and safe shop practices. This role involves fabricating components to precise specifications and contributing to high-quality production in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Perform welding using

MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), Stick (SMAW), and Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW)

. Read and interpret

blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols

. Fabricate and assemble metal structures, components, and equipment according to specifications. Set up welding machines and select appropriate consumables. Fit, tack, weld, grind, and finish components to required tolerances. Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with

CWB standards

and company quality requirements. Operate fabrication shop tools including cutting equipment, presses, saws, and measuring tools. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company safety policies. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines..

Qualifications

Valid CWB welding tickets

(multi-process certification preferred). Minimum 10 years experience with

MIG, TIG, Stick, and FCAW

welding processes. Strong fabrication skills, including fitting and layout. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols. Knowledge of shop safety practices and proper PPE use. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting, bending, standing for long periods). Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Candidates must have their own transportation; steel-toed safety boots mandatory - all other PPE (helmet, gloves) will be supplied on-site. Suitable candidates will be assigned to start work immediately - same day or next day.

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
