Summary
As an Extrusion Production Worker, you will play a key role in CTK Bio's manufacturing operations by supporting the safe and efficient operation of extrusion equipment and production lines. This hands-on role focuses on operating machinery, monitoring process parameters, handling materials, and ensuring consistent product quality. You will work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to meet daily production targets and support continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor extrusion lines and related production equipment.
Load raw materials and manage material flow during production runs.
Monitor process parameters (temperature, pressure, speed, moisture, etc.) and make basic adjustments as required.
Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting of extrusion equipment.
Identify and report equipment issues, quality concerns, or safety hazards to supervisors.
Conduct in-process quality checks and collect samples per QC requirements.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and housekeeping standards.
Work collaboratively with production, maintenance, and quality teams to minimize downtime and waste.
Accurately complete production logs, checklists, and shift reports.
Support production and operational goals as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is an asset.
0-3 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, production, or industrial environments.
Experience with plastics extrusion or related manufacturing processes is an asset.
Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with machinery and tools.
Willingness and ability to work extended shifts, overtime, and flexible schedules (including evenings, nights, or weekends) as required.
Ability to follow SOPs and safety procedures in a production environment.
Strong attention to detail and basic problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on production setting.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Legally eligible to work full-time in Canada.
