Paladin Security is Hiring a Extra Specimen Courier!:

Paladin Security Group is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Specimen Courier to support hospital operations at KHSC/PCH. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working independently, providing excellent service, and ensuring critical medical specimens are transported safely and on time.



Kingston, ON | Temporary, Full-Time | $18.00/hour

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00

What You'll Do::

Perform specimen drop-offs and pick-ups between KHSC/PCH hospitals Complete documentation for all courier runs, including detailed reports and notes Use 2-way radios and cellphone technology for communication Deliver time-sensitive items accurately and efficiently Manage scheduled pick-ups/drop-offs and respond to Stat deliveries Provide above-average customer service to staff and patients Report vehicle maintenance needs or deficiencies Carry out other courier-related duties as assigned

Requirements:

Must Have Criteria::

Valid Class G driver's license (or equivalent) Clean driver's abstract from the last 3 years Must be 25 years of age or older Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and walk for extended periods Proficiency in English (oral and written communication) Proof of COVID-19 double vaccination Immunization records: MMR, Varicella, Pertussis, and TB Skin Tests (Step 1 & 2) Must be able to be clean-shaven for N95 Mask Fit Test Legally authorized to work in Canada

Nice to Have (Optional)::

Fluency in French (oral and written) Previous courier or delivery experience
