POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a talented and inspiring Fragrance Expert entrusted with advancing the success of our business through exceptional customer service.
The successful candidate will be eager to learn, have a keen eye for the latest trends, an extensive knowledge of fragrance, products and knowhow, and play a critical role in creating a personalized customer experience anchored in self-care.
Reporting to the Fragrance Manager, the Fragrance Expert will be trained and will help build genuine connections with our valued clientele, ensuring they discover and embrace their individual beauty.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Experience
Build trusted relationships with customers by actively listening, maintaining self-awareness, engaging in conversation, and demonstrating genuine care and empathy in a warm and professional manner.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Offer elevated self-care services and client experiences to our customers.
Expert Product Knowledge
Possess in-depth knowledge of our luxury fragrance product lines, including their composition, brand story and usage instructions.
Stay up to date with the latest fragrance launches to deliver accurate and relevant advice to customers.
Peer coaching, to serve as go-to professionals, possessing refined skills to assume expert responsibilities within our team.
Fragrance Consultations
Educate customers on fragrance and the different lines that exists withing the fragrance family.
Help customers discover and select the perfect fragrance for any occasion.
Provide expert product recommendations and guidance on scent profiles.
Offer product samples to customers to enhance their experience.
Goals
Consistently achieve department goals by effectively communicating the unique value of our luxury beauty products and providing exceptional customer service.
Utilize solid interpersonal skills to upsell and cross-sell products, ensuring customers have a comprehensive beauty experience tailored to their preferences.

Represent our luxury beauty retailer with pride and professionalism by embodying the brand's values, authenticity, and esthetic through personal grooming and style.
Represent our brand with excellence and passion as brand ambassadors.
Attend events hosted by brands to which they are experts in to maintain up to date brand knowledge.

THE FIRST YEAR
Months 1 - 5
Training on brands, company culture, and ways of working.
Preparing for store opening, and learning policies and procedures and technologies/ platforms.
Month 6+
Store opening, operations, customer service, and continued brand education.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU WILL NEED
3+ years of experience in the fragrance industry.
High school diploma or equivalent.
In-depth knowledge of different fragrance families, notes, and scents.
Exceptional active listening, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse customers.
Self-motivated and inspired, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Experience Client

Expertise Produit
Posseder une connaissance approfondie de nos lignes de parfums de luxe, incluant leur composition, leur histoire et leur utilisation.
Se tenir informe(e) des dernieres sorties pour conseiller les clients avec precision.
Coacher ses pairs et servir de reference en interne, en partageant son expertise.
Consultations Parfums
Eduquer les clients sur les parfums et les differentes familles olfactives.
Aider les clients a decouvrir et selectionner le parfum ideal pour chaque occasion.
Fournir des recommandations expertes et des conseils sur les profils olfactifs.
Proposer des echantillons pour enrichir l'experience client.

COMPETENCES ET EXPERIENCE REQUISES
Minimum 3 ans d'experience dans l'industrie du parfum.
Diplome d'etudes secondaires ou equivalent.
Connaissance approfondie des familles olfactives, notes et parfums.
