Your Mission
The Ricochet Platform Team creates and operates the tools utilized by anti-cheat specialists to maintain the integrity of Call of Duty. We are in the process of building out a new technology stack that combines data from different sources to detect cheaters quicker and more accurately. As an expert in backend engineering, you will contribute to the architecture, development, and operation of critical anti-cheat systems powering the fight against cheating in Call of Duty.
Player Profile
Minimum requirements:
Experience

• 12+ years relevant work experience developing scalable backend systems serving millions of users
• Excellent programming skills in Java, C#, Rust, C++, or, preferably, Go.
• Experience in distributed system architecture with an emphasis on scalability, reliability, and performance demonstrated across multiple projects
• Deploying code to cloud environments using Kubernetes
• Worked in a code base that uses Git

Experience

• Experience with modern data technologies such as Stream Processing Platforms (e.g. Kafka, Flink), Data Warehouses (e.g Databricks, Snowflake), OLAP Databases (e.g. Pinot, Druid), NewSQL Databases (e.g. CockroachDB, TiDB)
• Has executed large scale data migrations

The standard base pay range for this role is $105,455.00 - $222,870.00 CAD. These values reflect the expected annualized base pay range of new hires in British Columbia, Canada. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed. '
