Responsibilities

Carry out assigned construction tasks safely & efficiently with limited or no supervision. Including but not limited to vent wall/ door construction, fan/ duct installations, service extensions, chute installations, welding & shotcreting

Read, understand, and interpret blueprints as well as rebar schematics

Candidates must be able to develop risk assessments for all tasks and adhere to site policies and procedures by committing to maintain a safe and efficient work environment

Must be proficient in accurately documenting work performed during the shift

Experience, Education and Skills

Ability to operate LHD's, Scissor Lifts, Forklifts, Zoom Booms & PC's. Also have the ability, to operate both Shotcrete Pot and Nozzle.

Proficient in the use of Oxy/Ace cutting and SMAW welding processes, considered an asset

Possession of a valid CWB ticket, considered an asset

Have a strong safety ethic and be able to work collaboratively with other trades personnel and crew members, as well as work independently often with little or no supervision

Full Underground Basic Common Core an asset.

Capable of effectively working alone or as a team.
