Your experience in traffic control has given you the skills to keep worksites safe, traffic moving smoothly, and crews protected! At SPR Traffic Services LP, we're looking for a Traffic Control Person (1) with at least 5 years of hands-on experience that is ready to bring their expertise to our expanding operations in Port Kells, BC.



As part of the employee-owned Mainroad Group of Companies, SPR delivers professional traffic management services across highways, city streets, and remote construction zones. What you bring:




Possess a valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract. Valid BCCSA (BC Construction Safety Alliance) Certification or equivalent traffic control ticket. Minimum of 5 years of Traffic Control experience Demonstrate flexibility in working various shifts (day, afternoon, night) in all weather conditions. Exhibit a strong work ethic and willingness to perform job duties in all weather conditions. An ability to work in a collaborative team environment, often without supervision. Able to work flexible hours and on-call shifts. Adaptability and openness to cross-training opportunities to meet evolving job demands. First-aid ticket level 1, 2, or 3 is an asset.

This role involves a range of job duties, which include, but are not limited to:




Safely control traffic during road maintenance, construction, and emergency situations Set up, monitor, and maintain safe work zones using appropriate signage and delineation devices Ensure safety protocols are followed and report any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions Perform routine checks and maintenance of vehicles and equipment
