Family of Five Seeking Summer Nanny for Adventurous Life in PEC and Toronto (with Significant Travel)

Ideal Candidate will:

Have 5+ years experience working with children ages 3 - 13 Excel at creating order from chaos in playful way Enjoy being active, outdoors, music, role playing, swimming, and crafts Easily break into song and dance (skills not required) Be a strong swimmer and have or are willing to get a lifeguard certification Be a safe driver with an excellent record and your own vehicle Love to travel, be comfortable on planes of all sizes, and enjoy spontaneity Be able to maintain order and organization in a busy home environment, and help kids to maintain order and tidy after themselves Have backup plans ready for kid activities when family plans shift Work well with other team members who work in the home

About our family:

We are five big personalities Parents often work from home Kids are 3, 8, and 10 Kids are independent and extremely articulate Kids are wildly creative, love to swim, draw, sing, dance, decorate, bake, perform Kids work hard to get their first choice at all times, need a caretaker who can lovingly and playfully hold boundaries and create structure We enjoy hosting playdates and will at times have friends over; this role will include keeping a watchful eye over elementary school playdates and a 3 year old simultaneously Family spends much of summer in Prince Edward County (2.5 hours from Toronto) Must have your own accommodation in Toronto, accommodation provided when we are away from Toronto

Extra consideration will be given to candidates who:

Have a teaching or ECE accreditation Have experience working with children in a private home Are able to teach musical skill like piano, guitar, singing, song writing, choreography, improv, poetry Have knowledge of forestry, can help children to grow herbs, fruit, and vegetables on our raised garden bed over the summer Can help with household management tasks like maintaining lists of items needed, light shopping, light food prep, tidying

44 Hour work week. Hourly rate $25-$35 Commensurate with Experience

*must be fully vaccinated and willing to immunize as required for travel and Ontario updates

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
