Responsibilities:
- Assist with menu creation, food preparation, and recipe development
- Able to cook pub-style menus and meals for banquets and events
- Able to calculate food costs for the menu and Special Theme Nights
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations
- Train other part-time staff for busy times
- Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Valid Food Handlers Certificate for Ontario
- Diploma from a culinary school recognized in Ontario
- Prior experience as a Sous Chef in a pub style restaurant or public golf club.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
