Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sider to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction and carpentry, demonstrating proficiency in the use of hand tools and the ability to read blueprints. This role requires a hands-on approach to siding installation, ensuring high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards. We have 11 new build residential houses currently that will be the first project for the right candidate, with more houses in the works for the future.

Responsibilities

Install various types of siding materials according to project specifications and blueprints. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and fitting siding materials. Perform caulking and sealing to ensure weatherproofing and insulation. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications. Conduct regular inspections of work areas to maintain safety and cleanliness. Assist with heavy lifting and moving of materials as required on job sites. Provide maintenance person support for additional construction tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience in siding installation or related construction fields. Strong skills in carpentry, including framing and finishing work. Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and work in various weather conditions. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Previous maintenance person experience is a plus, enhancing versatility on the job site. Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
