Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Shipping and Packing Representative to join our team. In this role, you will ensure that all outbound packages are managed efficiently and safely while leading a team to meet our high standards of excellence. Your expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our shipping and packing operations.
Key Responsibilities: Shipping and Packing Operations:

- Oversee the packing, weighing, and labeling of completed items for shipment or storage.
- Ensure all items are packed according to company guidelines to guarantee they arrive at their destination safely.
- Verify that items match orders before shipping to customers.
- Utilize packaging materials and tools efficiently, including hand tools, glues, nails, and padding.

- Maintain comprehensive records of all shipped orders, including tracking numbers.
- Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance shipping and packing efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and improve overall workflow.

- Perform other duties as required to support the shipping and packing operations.
Qualifications: Experience:

- Proven work experience as a Packer or in a similar role with a track record of leadership.
- Experience in manufacturing or a related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and train staff effectively.

- Proficiency with basic shop skills, including the use of hand tools.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with team members.

- High school diploma or equivalent
