We are looking for a full time server to join our passionate and tight knit crew at The Mackenzie Room! Join a dynamic team of industry professionals at a Michelin Recommended restaurant that has been serving Vancouver for 10 years.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing menus and information about daily specials. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all requests are communicated to the kitchen staff. Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets our restaurant standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Process payments accurately and handle cash transactions responsibly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders. Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times, including proper food handling practices.

Requirements

Previous experience in customer service or the restaurant industry is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations is an asset. Strong communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment. A positive attitude with a willingness to help others, contributing to a team-oriented atmosphere. Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
