We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that customers receive prompt, friendly, and efficient service while maintaining high standards of food safety and hospitality.
Duties
Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, providing menus and information about daily specials.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all customer preferences are noted.
Serve food and drinks to tables promptly while ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards.
Assist with food preparation and handling as needed, ensuring cleanliness and organization of the service area.
Respond to guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, providing assistance as required to enhance their dining experience.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain communication regarding special requests or dietary restrictions.
Process payments accurately and efficiently while maintaining cash handling procedures.
Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout the shift.
Skills
Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
Experience in the food industry, particularly in restaurant or food service environments is preferred.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
Bartending skills are a plus for those interested in beverage service responsibilities.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members alike.
Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy setting while maintaining attention to detail.
