Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pizza Cook to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing delicious pizzas and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. This role requires creativity, teamwork, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our customers.

Duties

Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences. Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored, adhering to food safety guidelines. Assist in the preparation of other menu items as needed, including appetizers and salads. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including cooking stations and equipment. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure quality control of all food items. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and timely service. Handle food safely and responsibly, following all health regulations within the restaurant.

Qualifications

Previous pizza cook experienceis preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential. Familiarity with the food industry, particularly in a restaurant setting, is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team. A passion for cooking and creating high-quality meals for customers. Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
