JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a

Full-Time Experienced Pipeworker

to join TAG's team working with the site Foreman and Machine Operators installing various pipe work, site grading, excavations, grouting, raking and shoveling along with other site dependent tasks. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS

Grade and level trench bases using tamping machines and hand tools. laying and joining concrete, plastic or cast-iron pipe for drains, watermains and sewer mains. Complete all work within specifications to ensure pipe is laid to the proposed grade and alignment. Participate in Toolbox meetings and Pre-Task Inspections as well as promote a safe work environment and adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Maintaining tools, cords and equipment so they are kept in good working order and are safe to use. Rigging pipe for hoisting.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous Pipework experience in construction is required. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods in all types of environments and conditions. Communication with crew members and following Supervisor's instructions. Ability to read and understand construction drawings is an asset. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the job site. Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced team members. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment.
