Job Summary:
As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our licensed pharmacists in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy. You will assist in various tasks related to prescription processing, customer service, inventory management and other pharmacy-related tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Process and fill prescriptions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
Provide excellent customer service to patients and answer inquiries.
Manage inventory, including ordering and restocking medications.
Maintain accurate patient records and files.
Assist with insurance claims and billing.
Perform cash register operations and handle payments.
Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety procedures.
Educational Qualifications and Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a Pharmacy Assistant or Pharmacy Technician program from a recognized institution.
Previous experience of minimum 2 years in a pharmacy setting.
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and medications.
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency in computer skills and Kroll pharmacy software.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving boxes.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Valid Driving license and criminal record check.

Pay: 21$/hour (Depending on experience & qualifications)

Schedule: 8hours/day (Mon-Fri), with ability to work on weekends if required.
