Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting disciplines, including residential, commercial, restoration, and industrial painting. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint and coatings, and ensuring high-quality finishes that meet project specifications. The Painter will work closely with clients and team members to deliver exceptional results while maintaining safety and efficiency on all job sites.

Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion Apply paint, stains, varnishes, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and power tools Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine project scope and specifications Perform rigging and use hand tools and carpentry skills to set up scaffolding or ladders for elevated work Execute restoration projects by matching existing finishes and working with specialty coatings for industrial or commercial environments Manage time effectively to complete projects within deadlines while maintaining quality standards Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project requirements are understood and met Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times

Requirements

Proven experience in construction painting, residential painting, commercial painting, restoration, or industrial painting Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding rigging, and caulking techniques Knowledge of schematics and the use of various application methods for different surfaces Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients and team members Excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects efficiently Experience with carpentry or related construction skills is a plus Customer service orientation to ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle Ability to work safely at heights using scaffolding or ladders and follow all safety guidelines

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
