We are a warm and welcoming family looking for a caring, responsible, and experienced nanny to provide attentive care for our two children, ages 1 and 7. This is a non-live-in position requiring 30 hours per week. Our ideal candidate is nurturing, reliable, and proactive, with experience managing the needs of both a toddler and a school-aged child.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide loving and attentive care to both children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Engage the children in age-appropriate activities, including educational play, arts and crafts, and outdoor time.
Assist with meal preparation for the children.
Perform light housekeeping tasks related to the children, such as tidying play areas, washing dishes, and occasional laundry.
Support the older child with homework or school-related activities as needed.
Follow established routines for naps, meals, and bedtime.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a nanny or in a related childcare role.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Reliable, responsible, and organized with strong communication skills.
Legally eligible to work in Canada.
Comfortable preparing simple, nutritious meals for children.
References from previous families or employers.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with multiple children of different age groups.
Early childhood education or relevant training is a plus.
A driver's license and reliable transportation (not required but beneficial).
2nd language a bonus - spanish, portuguese, or french
