Aurora Plastic Surgery is a well-established and in-demand plastic surgery clinic led by Dr. Bimpe Ayeni, a board-certified plastic surgeon with a long-standing reputation for excellence in surgical and non-surgical care. As we expand into a newly constructed, private surgical facility in Aurora, we are also adding a medical aesthetics division to complement our surgical services.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced
Medical Administrator
to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, professional, and thrives in a structured, fast-paced medical environment.
Position Overview:
As our Medical Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient daily operations of the clinic, including administrative support for both the surgical and aesthetics teams. This is a
permanent, in-person role
with a clear scope of duties and defined hours. While we are expanding, our clinic is not a start-up -- this position is part of a stable and high-performing practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner
Manage phone lines and email correspondence promptly and courteously
Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-ups using EMR software
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure patient confidentiality
Assist with general office duties such as filing, data entry, and correspondence
Support basic content posting on our social media channels (optional, not core)
Work closely with the medical team to ensure a seamless patient experience
Uphold clinic protocols, policies, and standards of care
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical or dental administrative role
Familiarity with EMR systems (ACCURO and/or NOVARI preferred)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Comfortable with technology and basic content posting on social platforms
Ability to maintain professionalism and discretion at all times
Prior experience in surgical, dermatology, or aesthetic practices considered an asset
Experience as a dental office manager or similar role is a plus

Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (40 hours per week)

Compensation:
Competitive hourly wage based on experience
Pay Schedule:
Bi-weekly via direct deposit
