Lamer Landscaping & Snowplowing Ltd. is seeking a reliable and experienced

Loader Driver

to join our snow removal team for the upcoming winter season. This position involves operating heavy equipment (wheel loaders) to clear snow from commercial properties, including parking lots, access roads, and loading docks.

This is a

seasonal, on-call position

based on weather conditions, including overnight, early morning, weekend, and holiday shifts.

NOTE: This job doesn't start until winter 2025. This position could lead to year-round work for the right person who has experience in the Landscaping/Hardscaping field.

Responsibilities:

Operate a loader to remove snow from commercial properties in a safe and efficient manner Follow site maps and service routes as directed Maintain clear communication with dispatch and site supervisors Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment Ensure timely and thorough snow removal with attention to safety and property protection

Requirements:

Minimum

2 years' experience

operating loaders or heavy equipment for snow removal Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required) Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, depending on snowfall Reliable transportation to job sites or dispatch location Ability to work outdoors in harsh winter conditions Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with commercial snow removal contracts Familiarity with skid steers, plows, and other snow equipment

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
