We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a strong commitment to food safety and quality. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that each dish is prepared to perfection and served promptly. This position requires a collaborative spirit and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines. Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling practices. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Including all duties given by the Executive Chef.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years experience as a Line Cook.

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred. Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Familiarity with various kitchen equipment, including ovens, grills, fryers, and slicers. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.40-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 30 per week
